Efforts will be made to focus on key areas such as electronic design automation (EDA) software, high-end intellectual property (IP), chip design, advanced packaging and testing in a bid to achieve breakthroughs in EDA tool software development and high-performance general chip design.

Futian will push the construction of key projects such as the Global Intelligent Chip Innovation Center and the full-process EDA tools for digital integrated circuit design.

By taking advantage of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone, Meilin-Caitian area, Dajinsha-Chegongmiao area and Huaqiangbei- Huaqiangbei-Shangbu area, Futian will create a "1+3" industrial pattern and build a globally influential semiconductor technology innovation source and an internationally leading integrated circuit design and software development aggregation area.
